Beginnings is a 16 minute duet with an innovative set design, lights and movement patterns that serves as a meditation on the continuous and inevitable progression, the process of aging and the accumulations of changes as we go through life.

​The piece was originally created for the Etud and Friends Festival 2018, Sofia Bulgaria. It was performed at DNK, Sofia, Bulgaria in June 2018 and at Duderstadt Video Studio, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI in September 2019. A 6 minute excerpt was commissioned by Dance Place, DC for their FORTITUDE Gala 2020.
